Once a Thief (1996, time: 1 h, 31 m)

This made for TV movie is from action film director/god John Woo. It has several themes that are common to other Woo films, so his fans shouldn't be disappointed. This film just goes to show what a good director Woo is - this is a pretty good flick with a cast full of no-name talent. Though if you're expecting some of the in-your-face style violence that some of Woo's others films have, you'll be disappointed here, but after all, this was for TV. A good story, with mostly believeable characters (I think we all could agree on which character was unnecessary to the whole thing), and enough action to keep you going.
